The association is led by an elected Executive Committee responsible for providing strategic direction, overseeing finances, approving initiatives, and ensuring that all activities align with the association's constitution and values.
Decisions are made collectively and ethically, with conflicts of interest managed appropriately and the interests of the association and its beneficiaries prioritised. HOPSA UK operates with transparency at every level — from financial reporting to member communications.
HOPSA UK operates through elected executives and ad-hoc committees that support the association's mission across key areas of activity.
Scholarships, bursaries, infrastructure support, and initiatives that strengthen Holy Child School and College.
Member support programmes, welfare initiatives, and compassionate outreach to communities in need.
Alumnae recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing engagement to strengthen the HOPSA UK network.
Reunions, galas, charity walks, and fundraising activities that unite members and support our causes.
Budgeting, authorisation, monitoring, and reporting to ensure responsible stewardship of association funds.
Internal and external communications, publicity, branding, and consistent messaging across all platforms.
Financial oversight is exercised through established processes and procedures that include budgeting, authorisation limits, access controls, monitoring, and reporting — ensuring that funds are used responsibly and for approved purposes.
HOPSA UK was conceived at a reunion of nine past students on 14th February 1988 — a gathering that became a lasting commitment to stay connected, support one another, and give back to Holy Child School and College. Today, that founding spirit continues under principled governance and elected leadership.
HOPSA UK exists to support and celebrate the schools that shaped us. Learn more about Holy Child School and Holy Child College in Ghana.
